Who we are

 

Richard Izard, Chief Executive

 

Richard is a leadership development consultant and executive coach, specialising in team growth and development. Richard is passionate about helping leaders see new possibilities, enhancing their and their companies effectiveness.

 

With over ten years of board level experience Richard is able to see connections that others don’t and be a catalyst for change by bringing clarity and simplicity out of complexity. Richard is very flexible and broad in his thinking as is demonstrated by holding board responsibility for such diverse areas as Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Buying, Finance, Supply Chain and latterly as a Managing Director.

 

Richard combines a unique blend of skills in Commercial and Finance with his deep understanding of human nature to bring about results and success when working with senior people. This success is demonstrated by the blossoming careers of those who have been part of the teams Richard has built.

 

Richard had worked in senior positions across a wide range of organisations including the Kingfisher retail group, Mars confectionery, The Royal Bank of Scotland and latterly in the music and film industries. He was once voted in the top 50 most influential executives in the music industry.

 

One of the reasons this business is called ‘Organic’ is because this is a journey of learning Richard has been on and continues to be on himself, so it is natural because it is also personal. His beliefs about leadership come from many years of being a leader and looking at what really brings lasting change.

 

Since April 2005 Richard has followed his heart to develop his work in coaching, leadership development, consulting and facilitation.

 

Richard’s current work spans the Commercial, Public and Third Sectors. Currently he has a real interest in working with Executive and Non Executive boards to help them understand and clarify their respective roles and responsibilities and enhance their combined contribution.

 

Richard loves getting involved with the charities that he supports. He sits on an exec board of a large relief and development charity and each year organises a fund raising dinner with members of the England rugby team in aid of the music industry charity Nordoff Robbins. The event has been running for 15 years and has raised in excess of £2million.

 

Richard loves playing sport and is reluctantly hanging his rugby boots up, though is still active as a ski instructor and is a keen, if not very talented, golfer.
